Put It In Its Place

A fresh start, a new beginning, resolutions, and a new outlook are some of the thoughts that race through our minds at the commencement of a new year. As we plan, dream, and contemplate what’s ahead, we must not forget to make God our first priority before seeking anything else. The Scriptures promise that when make God number one in our life, every other care and need of life that we have will be given to us (Mat. 6:33).
Clutter always makes things difficult to find and chaos brings with it the inability to think straight. When we can put things where they belong, they become easier to find. When we can prioritize what matters first to God, then making decisions becomes clearer and we can see where we are headed.
Let’s start the new year together and discover what it means to “seek first His kingdom and righteousness.” It’s time to “Put it in its Place” and rid our lives of the clutter and chaos that has kept us from thinking straight and finding what we’ve been looking for.
