Key Verse: Romans 12:1 “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”
There is no greater calling than to be set apart for the kingdom. Since the day of conception, each of us has been impregnated with purpose by our heavenly father to establish heaven on earth. It is sealed into our hearts with the Holy Spirit to live for His purposes and walk in His blessing. We identify with it as He calls us sons and daughters and makes us a holy temple for His presence to dwell. He calls us a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and out of darkness into His light (1 Pt. 2:9). What an amazing display of His choice to select us and set us apart for His kingdom!
Although our separation from the world is not without struggle, He has given us everything we need to be set apart in our living, our sacrifices, our holiness, and our worship (Rom. 12:1). Sin is crouching at our door, idols flash before our eyes, the rich and famous await our praise, and the expectations of the world press upon our purpose to be set apart for the kingdom. God is calling on His children to stand against everything that doesn’t please Him and hold onto all He has given us to be “Set Apart for the Kingdom.”
