Key Verse: Isaiah 6:8, Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I, Send me!”
It’s hard to believe a year has passed since our founder, Rev. William Vázquez, went home to be with the Lord. As we take a moment to reflect on his legacy and his final years of ministry, there was one urgency that stood out above everything else, his heart for lost souls. Rightly so, as followers of Jesus, we must carry that same urgency in our hearts to share the gospel of the kingdom with all. Jesus calls us to go throughout the world and tell of His love for us. He sends us out to serve, to be like them to save them. Jesus reminds us that when we feed the hungry, visit the lonely, and care for the sick, we do it for Him.
This month we stand united as the church in response to God’s calling for us to go. When God calls, what will be our response? We challenge you to rise to the occasion and stand firm on His promise and our salvation and say: Send Me!
