This month’s series is titled “I am a Giver”. The essence of our faith rests in the truth that God gave His only begotten son for humanity because He loved us. This alone should compel us to give. God’s principles of giving lies in the fact that He blesses us so that we can bless others. We have been gifted with talents, time, and treasures for the purpose of building His kingdom on earth. Our giving plays a significant role in God’s economic system of supplying the church with the resources it needs so it can invest in the community and meet its needs. When we can understamd why we are blessed, and hold to biblical teachings of how to invest our time, talents, and treasures for His purposes; positive Godly influence can occur. Let us unite to understand the imporatnce of giving and declare “I am a Giver!”
