Our world is suffering. Crime is on the rise, sin is commonplace; good has become evil and evil good. Many of us suffer from health, spiritual, social, and domestic issues. That being said, our suffering does not compare to the suffering of Christ. We have hope in God’s word which tells us that after we have suffered a little while, God will restore us (1 Pt. 5:10). We are encouraged to rejoice in our suffering because it produces endurance (Rom. 8:3). He will be with us through the water and fire (Isa. 43:2). Most of all, our present sufferings do not compare to the glory that will be revealed in us (Rom. 8:18). Let us look beyond our suffering and reach forward towards God’s glory. It’s time to let God’s glory overcome our sufferings! Let His glory be revealed!
