4/2/17 – Pastor Judy Morales – “What Word Does Your Testimony Speak?”
As we enter the month of April, we will witness millions of believers testify of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as they celebrate Easter. The essence of our belief lies in this fact, He died, and He rose again for you. There is no greater connection to the resurrection of Christ than our personal testimony. The only way God could have rescued us is through the Blood of the Lamb that was shed for our sins. We live because He lives! We are more than conquerors because He conquered death. However, there is another crucial aspect to the victory we have been given over the enemy which we often forget, the word of our testimony. Scripture tells us that we “conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony” (Rev. 12:11). Perhaps this is a reason for our unsuccessful attempts to conquer; we claim the blood of the Lamb, but we drag our testimony through the mud. We testify what He did on the cross, but our lives do not reflect that fact that He rose again. The most powerful testimony we can give is a life dedicated to Christ. However, what we profess to live must align with the words coming from our lips (or fingers) in order for our testimony to be seen as true. It’s time to align our testimony with the blood of the Lamb. Christ conquered death by His testimony, let us also follow in His footsteps by conquering with The Word of Our Testimony!
