Key verse: Ephesians 2:4-5
4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
For thousands of years, humanity has celebrated the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Once again, it’s that time of the year when we rally around the cross and await at the tomb to celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection. There is no doubt that He lives forevermore and he holds the keys to death and hell (Rev. 1:18). Jesus lives! But does He live in us?
As sons and daughters of the King, we must walk in the truth of His Word that blesses us with the promise of new life living in us through Jesus. His Word tells us that the Kingdom of God lives in you (Lk. 17:21), that the Holy Spirit lives within you (1 Cor. 3:16), and that His power is within us (Eph. 3:20). These truths give us evidence that not only is Jesus alive, but He is “Alive in Me.” This life conquers sin, and saves us by His grace (Eph. 2:4-5)
This Easter, let us celebrate His life in us by demonstrating His Kingdom as we serve those in need, share the message of salvation with others, forgive those who have offended us, and declare the healing and freedom power of the cross that is within us over the sick. Join us this month as we witness dead lives being transformed for His glory (Rom. 8:11) and declare with us that Jesus is “Alive in Me!”
