Key Verse: Hebrews 12:2
‘fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. ‘
The days are getting longer, the weather is turning milder, and the ground is thawing. All in preparation for a season of life that is on the way. This season also presents to us the opportunity to celebrate one of the most significant events of our faith. As we prepare to celebrate Easter, we want to make some time to look at a few significant events that focus on Jesus “Before the Cross”. From Jesus washing the disciples’ feet, his last supper with the disciples and praying in the garden, to carrying the cross and the last words to the thief and His mother, these events help us to see Jesus more deeply. More importantly, it gives us more insight into God’s love story for each of us.
We invite you to join us in this season of reflection as we look at these events and prepare our hearts for the life that is on the way!
