Key Verse: Ephesians 4:14-15, 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,
Truth and love have lost their inherent meaning in today’s culture. From the belief that we all have our own truths, to our fleeting love for people, our ability to live and speak the truth in love has diminished. Without an uncompromising truth we will stand for nothing. Without true love we will fall for everything.
God’s shows us that what He says in His Word is truth (Jn. 17:17), that He is love (1 Jn. 4:18), and that He loves us with an everlasting love (Ps. 103:17) that this world cannot offer. When we believe God, His truth and love will allow us to speak the truth in love to one another. Because we love one another, we must speak the truth. Because we know the truth, our daily life should model God’s love. Most importantly, we are called to love our neighbor (Mk. 12:31), our enemy (Mt. 5:44), and those who do not look like us or share our beliefs (Rom. 5:8). The best way we can show love is to share with them the truth of the gospel.
We share the gospel because we love the people for whom Christ died. We speak God’s truth because His love for us compels us to do so. Join us this month as we explore God’s “truth in love.”

Holy Spirit shared with me similar regarding worship. Yes, we worship with music and singing. But we also worship God when we believe Him, when we trust Him, when we conduct our lives in alignment with His will and we worship Him when we share the Gospel, bringing honor and glory to Him.
